Go Tunisia

Como temos visto nas televisões e jornais a Tunísia está atravessar um momento complicado, com manifestações e mortes causadas pelo antigo regime de Ben Ali, Presidente deposto.

Recebi esta semana um texto escrito por uma amiga tunisina, que descreve a situação vivida pelo povo. Após esta pequena explicação, percebi melhor a verdadeira situação (pedi autorização a minha amiga para postar o texto no meu blogue, já que é bastante elucidativo)

What is happening in Tunisia

Dear friends, here is a description of the actual situation in Tunisia from what i m living personnaly.

The president escaped as u already know, but still people who are called militia, who are trying to burn and destroy the country, but also killing sometimes, and scaring some other times people with firearms.

So, the army and the police is running behind them and trying to catch them..they arrested already many of them with the active help of the young people, who are dressing barriers and spending the nights awake out side, to protect their villages, their houses and their shops.

Sometimes, those young people catch the militias and call the army and the police to pick them.

So, the situation is still unstable, because of those militias, but people are solidar and they are doing their best to restore the order.

Today, people restarted to work, with special schedule, and we are still under a curfew from 6 p.m till 5 a.m for the security.

Schools are also still closed, and it's normal.

Here was, a social description..to not be confused by the different news.

Politically, today they are going to announce the names of who are going to be in the new governement, then we are waiting for the elections...still nothing is clear.

So, i hope that now you understand more what is happening actually in Tunisia.

Just to add something for who doesnt understand what are those militias: they are employed by the EX president to destroy the country and to make the mess :))
