porque se detestam secretamente umas às outras e querem desesperadamente saber os pormenores sórdidos da vida umas das outras para depois irem contar às melhores amigas (que, já agora, também odeiam). isto, porque a casa de banho feminina é um lugar de extrema intimidade e com aquela velha tonalidade de rosa que lhe confere um ambiente de introspecção tão próprio xD
It's the same with Americans and there are many reasons: -we feel awkward stepping away from the table alone, but if another person goes with us, the attention is not so much on us going to the bathroom as it is a second group being formed -one can hold the door if it doesn't lock -we can talk about the other people who aren't there or just about what we've been seeing/thinking -you can get out of group mode and into a one-on-one mode -if you don't know where the restrooms are you can look for them together rather than feeling stupid alone -everyone else does it -sometimes you more than one woman just has to go to the bathroom at the same time...
but most importantly it makes guys wonder why we went together and if we're saying anything about them ;D

Ou se for uma casa de banho de um local rasca, onde as portas não fecham bem, uma fica a segurar e a tomar conta da porta.
